Making A Purchase Making a purchase via this web site is simple and straightforward: browse through the listings of our publications, and add any items that you wish to buy to the shopping cart. When you have finished selecting items, click on Checkout, and you will be asked to supply a few details that we need to be able to complete the order. Web Site sales correspondence is normally by e-mail, so please make sure that you enter a valid e-mail address. If it is not your own e-mail address, please try to have it checked for messages about your order from time to time before delivery.

The prices shown on our web site are retail prices quoted in UK Pounds Sterling (£).We accept payment by most Credit and Payment cards (but not Amex). If you are shopping from outside the UK, your Card company will pay us in Sterling but convert the cost of your purchase into your own currency when billing you. We do not normally charge for any item until the day it is despatched. This web site provides a secure (encrypted) method of transmitting your card details to us, but if you prefer you may phone, fax or post the information to us.

At our discretion, we also operate 30-day credit accounts for recognised UK educational institutions. If you wish to make use this facility, please use the drop-down payment option in the Checkout section. If your School/College etc is not an existing credit account customer, we may require additional written confirmation of the order and/or your authority to order goods on credit on behalf of the institution concerned. This facility can only be used to invoice and deliver goods direct to a School or College in the UK, not to a private address.

Can't find it listed on the Web Site? We can provide extra copies of the instrumental parts for most of our ensemble publications quickly and cheaply, but it is not practical to list them on this web site. There may also be some publications not listed here - but still available separately - which are shortly to be re-issued in collections. If you can't find it listed, ask - use the Contact e-mail facility.

When an order confirmation is sent to you, this is to indicate that we have received your order. It does not indicate that a contract exists between us. We will indicate acceptance of your order, and hence create a contract between us, when we send you an invoice. We have included this term in case a mistake has been made in pricing, we have inadvertently under-priced goods, or we are not able to supply a particular product to you for some reason. In the case of an increased price, we will always contact you first to ensure that the new price is acceptable.

Shipping And Handling Delivery to UK Postcode addresses: orders placed via this Web Site for delivery to UK mainland and UK offshore addresses will automatically attract an additional charge towards the cost of postage & packing. This charge will depend on the value of the order, and the speed of delivery required. Standard Delivery (2- 4 days) is by Second Class Post (up to 1KG) or by Royal Mail Parcel Post; Priority Delivery (1-2 days) is by First Class Post or by Carrier (only certain addresses are suitable for Carrier delivery). Please refer to the Shipping & Handling section for details of postal charges.

Delivery Schedule We will normally despatch your order to you in within 3 business days of receipt. Delivery times will depend on the delivery method used: we will be happy to advise you of the expected delivery time for your order on request.

Back Orders If an item from your order is not in stock, we will back-order it for you and try to give you an indication of the delay likely to be involved. You will always have the option to cancel this part of your order if you would rather not wait. Back-ordered items are not charged until they are shipped, and additional postage is not normally charged on back-ordered items.

Tax Charges Printed Music is zero rated for VAT (Value Added Tax) purposes in the UK, and will be invoiced and charged without tax by us. Some European Union and other states may levy VAT (TVA/BTW/USt) or other duties or taxes at local rates when printed music is imported into their territories: we have no control over such additional charges, and the retail prices we quote are not intended to include any part of these additional charges, which are the entire responsibility of the purchaser.

Credit Card Security When you send us your Credit or Payment Card details via our web site, the numbers are encrypted using 128-bit encryption, and are only decrypted after they reach our computer. They are not held in clear text on any Web Site.

Guarantee We guarantee to replace any faulty or wrongly-supplied material as quickly as possible at no additional cost to you.
